About extension-user-approval

extension-user-approval
Approval-based user management
extension-user-approval is a skill that adds approval-based user management to a Caffeine AI app. New users request access, admins approve or reject each request, and only approved users gain access to the protected features of the app. The skill is a way to control who can use an app without opening it to everyone who signs in. The backend uses a prefabricated approval module, which provides the state management for approval requests and must not be modified. It works with the access-control library from the authorization extension, so the roles that the approval flow sets are the same roles the rest of the app checks. Because of that dependency, the skill says the extension-authorization skill must be set up first. The skill is useful for private tools, internal apps and communities where an admin should decide who gets in. Its documentation covers the backend and the module API. The skills.sh listing shows Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk all passed, and the skill is part of the caffeinelabs skills collection.
