About finnish-humanizer

finnish-humanizer
Detect and remove AI-generated patterns from Finnish text
finnish-humanizer is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that detects and removes AI-generated patterns from Finnish text, so that it reads as if a native Finnish speaker wrote it. It identifies 26 patterns. Some are specific to Finnish, such as overuse of the passive voice, missing particles, translation calques from English and chains of genitive constructions. Others are universal markers that appear in machine-written text in any language, such as hedging, filler phrases and artificial enthusiasm. The skill's guiding principles describe how a Finnish writer thinks: directness, where the point is stated and the writer moves on; brevity as precision; repetition being acceptable, where reusing a word is normal and English-style synonym cycling sounds forced; restraint about enthusiasm, where a dry statement is stronger than an exclamation mark; and silence as a stylistic choice, where not explaining everything can be the stronger option. The skill is useful for Finnish writers and businesses who draft text with AI and need it to sound natural, and for reviewing translations. The rewrite should preserve the meaning of the original, and a native speaker should check important text before it is published. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 9.1K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
