About firecrawl-deep-research

F

firecrawl-deep-research

Produce an intensive, cited analytical report: executive summary

firecrawl-deep-research is an agent skill for producing a long, cited analytical report from web research. The output is a formal written report with an executive summary, findings from several angles, contrarian views, open questions and the full list of sources. The skill is meant only for report-scale work, where the user explicitly wants a rigorous synthesis delivered as a document. It says not to use it for a product pick, a top-N list, a quick lookup or anything a short search can answer. Before it starts, the agent asks one short question about how long the research task should run, unless the user has already said. Evidence is gathered from the open web. The skill points to a separate firecrawl-research-papers skill for literature reviews and for scientific or clinical topics where the answer lives in published papers, because that skill searches a paper index rather than websites. The skill is part of Firecrawl's workflows repository and is added to a compatible agent with the skills command. It is useful when someone needs a careful, sourced briefing on a market, technology or policy question that will be read as a document.
