About firecrawl-monitor

firecrawl-monitor
Alert by webhook/email on web changes
firecrawl-monitor is an agent skill for watching web pages and getting an alert when something changes. It is meant for requests such as monitor this page, watch this site, or tell me when something is new, and it uses the firecrawl monitor command from Firecrawl's CLI. Firecrawl does the fetching, the comparison, the judgement and the notification on its own servers, and it sends the alert by webhook or email. Each page in a check is labelled as the same, new, changed, removed or errored, so you can see at a glance what moved. The skill recommends a monitor over repeated one-off scrapes when you check known URLs on a schedule. The target depends on what you are watching. A single page takes one URL for changes, a batch takes several URLs, a whole site uses a root URL and watches every page a crawl discovers, and a web search takes queries and a goal to look for new results across the web. The skill contains a quick start for setting up a first monitor. It is part of the Firecrawl CLI repository and is added to a compatible agent with the skills command. The audits passed with Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket, and Snyk shows a warning.
