Foundation skill for Power Automate via FlowStudio MCP

flowstudio-power-automate-mcp is the foundation agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection for working with Power Automate through the FlowStudio MCP server. It is the plumbing layer: it gives an AI agent a reliable way to connect to the server, discover which tools are available, and handle the responses cleanly. The four specialized Power Automate skills, for building and debugging flows among others, all build on it. The skill explains what is needed to connect: the FlowStudio MCP endpoint, which is the same for all subscribers; an API key or token sent in an x-api-key header rather than as a bearer token; and the name of the Power Platform environment the flows live in. For ChatGPT and claude.ai there is no key, and the connection is made through an OAuth endpoint with a Microsoft sign-in instead. The skill includes a reusable helper written in Python and Node.js for making calls to the server. It requires a FlowStudio subscription or a compatible Power Automate MCP server. It is useful as the first step for anyone using an agent with Power Automate, and the credentials it uses must be kept secret and not pasted into chats or committed to source control. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 4.2K installs, with Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passing and Snyk showing a warning at the time of the scan.
