About FRP
FRP
A fast reverse proxy to help you expose a local server behind a NAT or…
frp is a fast reverse proxy that lets you expose a local server behind a NAT or firewall to the internet. You run a server on a machine with a public address and a client on the machine with the local service, and frp forwards requests from the internet through to that service. It supports TCP and UDP, plus HTTP and HTTPS, so requests can be routed to internal services by domain name, and it also offers a peer-to-peer connection mode. The README's example usage covers SSH access to a computer on a LAN, several SSH services sharing one port, custom domains for internal web services, DNS query forwarding, Unix domain socket forwarding, a simple HTTP file server and HTTPS for a local service. There are configuration files, environment variables and split configuration files, plus a server dashboard, a client admin UI, dynamic proxy management and Prometheus monitoring. Authentication uses a token or OIDC, traffic can be encrypted and compressed, and TLS and hot-reloading of client configuration are supported. Features include bandwidth limits, connection pooling, load balancing, health checks, port range mapping, KCP and QUIC protocols, and an SSH tunnel gateway. The README lists sponsors and development status, and it links to the contributing guide and donation options.
