About full-output-enforcement

F

full-output-enforcement

Overrides default LLM truncation behavior

full-output-enforcement is an agent skill in the OpenDesign project that overrides an AI model's default tendency to truncate its output. It treats every task as production-critical and says that a partial output is a broken output. It optimizes for completeness rather than brevity: if the user asks for a full file, the full file is delivered, and if the user asks for five components, five components are delivered. The skill lists banned output patterns that count as hard failures. In code, these include placeholder comments such as rest of code, implement here, TODO, and similar to above, and bare ellipses standing in for omitted code. In prose, they include offers to continue, phrases such as for brevity, the rest follows the same pattern, and I'll leave that as an exercise, whenever they replace real content. Structural shortcuts are banned as well: returning a skeleton when a full implementation was requested, showing the first and last sections while skipping the middle, replacing repeated logic with one example and a description, and describing what the code should do instead of writing it.
