About go-concurrency-patterns

go-concurrency-patterns
Master Go concurrency with goroutines, channels, sync primitives, and context
go-concurrency-patterns is an agent skill from the wshobson/agents collection for writing concurrent Go programs. It covers goroutines, channels, the synchronization primitives in Go's standard library, and context management, which together control how concurrent work starts, communicates, stops and times out. The skill gives production patterns for the common building blocks: worker pools that process jobs with a fixed number of goroutines, pipelines that pass data through stages connected by channels, and graceful shutdown that lets in-flight work finish cleanly. It also covers managing goroutine lifecycles so goroutines do not leak, using channels to communicate between them, and debugging race conditions, which are among the hardest problems in concurrent code. The skill is meant for developers building concurrent Go applications, such as servers and data processors, who want the patterns that hold up under load rather than ad hoc solutions. Its core concepts start with the primitives themselves, so the agent can explain why a pattern works and not only apply it. It is installed with the skills CLI from the wshobson/agents repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 11.1K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
