About golang-graphql

G

golang-graphql

Implements GraphQL APIs in Golang using gqlgen or graphql-go

golang-graphql is an agent skill for building GraphQL APIs in Go with either gqlgen or graphql-go. Both libraries are schema-first, so the skill guides the agent to write the schema in SDL files, with .graphql extensions, and then bind Go resolvers to it. It has two modes. Build mode covers new schemas, resolvers and server setup, and the agent first looks at existing resolver patterns and naming conventions in the project. Review mode audits a GraphQL codebase or pull request for common production problems: N+1 resolver patterns, missing query complexity limits, global DataLoaders and introspection left enabled in production. The skill's persona stresses batching database access so that each request does not run one query per item, and treats complexity limits as required in production. It points to other skills for package documentation and for navigating the project's own code, and it says that a company's own skill takes precedence over this community default. The skill is not an exhaustive reference, so the agent is told to check each library's official documentation for current API signatures. It is part of the samber cc-skills-golang collection and is installed with the skills command.
