About golang-how-to

golang-how-to
Golang skills orchestrator
golang-how-to is an orchestrator skill for Go work. It is meant to be active on any Go coding, review, debugging or setup task, and it decides which of the other Go skills in the collection should be loaded. A task rarely belongs to a single skill, so the orchestrator identifies the primary skill and all applicable secondary skills and loads them together. It works in three modes. In orchestrate mode, it loads the skills for the current task. In disambiguate mode, when two skills seem to overlap, it shows a table that explains the boundary between them. In configure mode, it writes an always-load directive for itself, and an optional list of required Go skills, into the project's agent configuration file such as CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md. In configure mode the skill asks its questions one at a time through the environment's question tool, and waits for each answer. The skill depends on gopls, the Go language server, which can be installed with go install. It is part of the samber cc-skills-golang collection, which is added to a compatible agent with the skills command. It suits teams who want their Go coding agent to apply the right practices on every task without having to name the skill each time.
