About golang-testing

golang-testing
Go testing patterns including table-driven tests, subtests, benchmarks, fuzzing
golang-testing is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It sets out Go testing patterns for reliable, maintainable tests, following a TDD method with idiomatic Go practice. Its topics include table-driven tests, subtests, benchmarks for performance-critical code, fuzz tests for input validation and test coverage. The skill describes a red, green, refactor workflow for Go, in which a failing test is written first, then the minimum code to pass it, and then the code is cleaned up. It applies when writing new Go functions or methods, adding coverage to existing code, creating benchmarks, adding fuzz tests, or working in a Go project that follows TDD. Because it is a SKILL.md file of instructions, the agent loads it for those tasks and applies the same structure to its tests. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.
