google-agents-cli-scaffold

Project scaffolding, deployment configuration

google-agents-cli-scaffold is an agent skill from Google's agents-cli project for creating and extending Agent Development Kit (ADK) projects for Google Cloud. It covers three commands: scaffold create for a new project, scaffold enhance to add deployment and CI/CD to an existing project, and scaffold upgrade to apply version updates while keeping the user's customizations. For new projects it makes requirements clarification mandatory. Before any scaffold create command runs, the agent must complete the first phase of the workflow skill and ask what the agent should do, which tools and APIs it needs, and whether the user wants a prototype or a full deployment. It then helps the user choose an architecture and maps those choices to CLI flags. The skill needs agents-cli installed with uv first. It sets up the project structure, deployment configuration, infrastructure scaffolding and CI/CD, and the eval skill's dataset and custom metric are created at this step for Python projects. It suits developers starting a new ADK agent who want a standard project layout rather than one built by hand.
