About google/cloud/cloud-run-basics

google/cloud/cloud-run-basics
Manages Cloud Run services, jobs, and worker pools
cloud-run-basics is an agent skill for managing Cloud Run, Google's fully managed platform for running code, functions or containers on its infrastructure. It covers three resource types. Services respond to HTTP requests at a stable endpoint, using stateless instances that autoscale. Jobs run parallel tasks to completion, manually or on a schedule. Worker pools handle always-on background work such as Kafka consumers, Pub/Sub pull queues or RabbitMQ consumers. Use it when deploying an application that answers HTTP, running an event-triggered or scheduled task, or running a long-lived background consumer. The skill lists the prerequisites: enabling the Cloud Run Admin and Cloud Build APIs, and the roles needed to deploy, including Cloud Run Admin, Cloud Run Source Developer, Service Account User and Logs Viewer. It explains that Cloud Build uses the Compute Engine default service account unless overridden, and it covers how to reach a service that a domain restriction policy keeps private. It is part of the google/skills repository on GitHub. The listing shows it as free.
