About gtm-product-led-growth

G

gtm-product-led-growth

Build self-serve acquisition and expansion motions

gtm-product-led-growth is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that guides building self-serve acquisition and expansion, the motion known as product-led growth. It starts with a more basic question than most PLG guides: whether PLG is the right motion for the product at all. If it is, the skill covers optimizing activation, the point where a new user first gets real value, driving conversion from a free tier to a paid plan, and building growth loops in which existing users bring in new ones. It also covers which growth channels to invest in, and how to know whether PLG will work before committing to it. It applies when deciding between PLG and a sales-led motion, when self-serve adoption is weak, when freemium conversion is not working, when developer-led adoption needs a strategy, and when a team needs to choose its growth channels. It is useful for founders and growth teams building a product that people can try and buy without talking to sales. Free tiers have costs for the company as well as value for users, so the limits should be set against the real cost of serving them and tested with users before they are changed. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 1.8K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
