About gws-calendar

gws-calendar
Google Calendar API access for managing calendars, events, and sharing rules
gws-calendar is an agent skill from the Google Workspace CLI project, listed on skills.sh. It gives an agent access to the Google Calendar API, through the gws command-line tool, for managing calendars, events and sharing rules. The listing says it covers more than ten API resources, including events, calendars, ACL rules for sharing, calendar lists, free and busy queries and user settings. For events it supports create, read, update, delete, import, moving an event between calendars, and querying recurring events. Two helper commands are shown on the page: +insert, which creates a new event, and +agenda, which shows upcoming events across all calendars. The skill's prerequisite is that the shared authentication and security rules of the gws setup are read first, and if the shared skill is missing it can be generated with gws generate-skills. It is for people and agents that need to schedule meetings, check someone's availability or tidy a calendar from the command line, and who have set up Google Workspace authentication for the tool.
