gws-drive-upload
Upload files to Google Drive with automatic MIME type detection and metadata
by googleworkspaceFree
Description
gws-drive-upload is an agent skill from the Google Workspace CLI project, listed on skills.sh. It uploads a local file to Google Drive. You give it the path to the file, and it detects the MIME type from the file extension and sets the metadata. It can place the file in a chosen parent folder, given by ID with --parent, and it can rename the file with --name. If no name is given, the file keeps its source filename. The page documents these flags in a table, with the file path as the only required input. It relies on the shared gws authentication and security rules, which the skill asks the agent to read first, and it can generate them if they are missing. It suits people who need a file from their computer to appear in a Drive folder, for example a report or an export, without using the Drive web interface. The upload runs under the account the user has authorised for the tool.…
