Description
recipe-email-drive-link is a recipe skill from the Google Workspace CLI project, listed on skills.sh. It shares a Google Drive file with one person and emails them the link, in a single sequence. The steps are to find the file by name with gws drive files list, to grant that person reader access with gws drive permissions create, and to send them a message with the link using gws gmail +send. The example shares a quarterly report with a client. Sharing a file gives access to someone outside the team, so the recipe should be checked before the permission step runs, to confirm the file and the address. It requires the gws-drive and gws-gmail skills to be loaded first. It suits people who regularly send a file to a client, a contractor or a colleague and want the access grant and the notification done in one go, without opening Drive and composing an email separately.…
