About intent-driven-development

intent-driven-development
Turn ambiguous or high-impact product and engineering changes into scoped
intent-driven-development is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It turns an ambiguous or high-impact product or engineering change into scoped, checkable acceptance criteria, either before implementation or alongside it. It inspects the available context first, points out real ambiguity, and picks verification methods that fit the work and its risk. The aim is useful criteria without heavy paperwork. It applies when someone asks to clarify a feature or define acceptance criteria, when a request touches security, authentication, persistent data, migrations, external APIs or compliance, when a handoff artifact is needed for another agent or team, when the expected result is not yet observable or testable, or when the user calls it directly with /intent-driven-development. It is not for trivial edits, one-line fixes, active debugging, code review, or changes whose acceptance conditions are already clear. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.
