About learn-agent-skills

L

learn-agent-skills

Focused interactive tutor

learn-agent-skills is an interactive tutor skill from the AI Engineering from Scratch project for the Agent Skills Engineering path. It teaches how to create agent skills, one lesson per invocation. Each lesson is designed around doing: the learner creates files, runs a lab, explains the boundary of what the skill does, and leaves one observable checkpoint before the lesson counts as complete. You can start the path or resume it from where you left off. The skill keeps the invocation syntax with the host, so the same lesson is started as learn-agent-skills in Codex, as a slash command in Claude Code, or in plain language in other compatible hosts. It is for engineers who want to learn how skills are structured and written by building one, rather than reading about them. Because the tutor works one lesson at a time, plan a session around a single checkpoint, and keep the files it asks you to create in your own project so you can come back to them. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub and Snyk on skills.sh, and Socket shows a warning. It has about 2,300 installs. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/rohitg00/ai-engineering-from-scratch --skill learn-agent-skills.
