Description
Lesson is an agent skill that saves a correction or a hard-won rule as a lesson in agentmemory. A lesson records what to do or avoid, the context in which it applies, a confidence score and the project it belongs to. Lessons are meant to come back up before similar work, so an agent meets a known pitfall before it repeats it. The example in the skill records that vitest should be run with the run flag in CI, because bare vitest starts watch mode and hangs the pipeline, with a confidence of 0.7 and the context of any script or CI step that calls vitest. If you save the same content again, the skill notes that the duplicate strengthens the lesson rather than creating a second copy. The skill is triggered when you correct the assistant's approach or ask it to learn from something, and it is part of the agentmemory plugin. Use it for rules that have been proven by experience, rather than for one-off facts.…
