About LifeOS
LifeOS
The universal AI Harness designed to move you from Current
LifeOS is an open-source AI harness that sits around your AI assistant and keeps it pointed at what you actually want. You write your goals, context and standards down once, and LifeOS carries them into every task you hand the AI. Its core loop has four steps: articulate what done looks like as criteria you can check, climb toward it one step at a time, verify each step with evidence from a tool, and learn from what changed so the next attempt starts higher. The same loop is meant to cover code, writing, planning a salary negotiation or studying for exams. You install it by pasting a prompt into Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, or by running its install script in a terminal. The project describes its data as local and under your own control, and the source and releases are on GitHub.
