Material-UI System - Design system for Material-UI

Material UI, from MUI, is a comprehensive library of React components that implements Google's Material Design system. The project is independently implemented, and it has been developed over more than a decade by open-source contributors. Its core is extended by MUI X, a suite of more complex components for advanced use cases. The repository's documentation covers getting started, and older versions have their own upgrade guides for moving from v3, v4 and v5. The package tag @next points to pre-releases, while @latest gives the current stable release. The project is licensed under the MIT licence. Sponsors include organisations at several levels, and MUI's infrastructure is supported by GitHub, Netlify and CodeCov. The repository links a contributing guide, a changelog, a roadmap and a security policy. For how-to questions that do not involve changing the code base, the README asks people to use Stack Overflow rather than GitHub issues. Premium templates and themes are sold separately in the MUI Store. It suits React developers who want a ready-made set of Material Design components.
