UI copy and microcopy guidelines

microcopy is an agent skill from the LobeHub repository with guidelines for the words in the user interface. It covers the copy on buttons, error messages, empty states, onboarding screens and other user-facing text, along with translation and wording improvements for the app. The skill is a quick-reference summary. It points to two longer reference files, one for Chinese copy and one for English copy, which hold the full guidance with examples of what to avoid, tone choices by situation and worked scenarios. The guidelines state the brand line for the product, Where Agents Collaborate, and tell the assistant to focus on a collaborative agent system rather than on generation alone. The skill also keeps a list of fixed terminology so that the same concept is named the same way everywhere in the interface. It is used by contributors who write or review interface text and by an assistant asked to improve existing copy. Because it is a set of writing rules rather than code, it changes how strings look, not how the app behaves. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk on skills.sh. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/lobehub/lobehub --skill microcopy.
