About momentic-test

momentic-test

Create, run, and maintain end-to-end tests

momentic-test is an agent skill for creating, running and maintaining end-to-end browser tests in the Momentic framework. Momentic turns structured natural language into browser automation, using a forked Playwright, the Chrome DevTools Protocol and custom agents. Each test is an ordered list of structured steps. Interactive steps resolve natural-language targets, assertions can use multimodal models to check what is on the page, and AI actions can complete broader goals. Tests are stored as YAML: *.test.yaml files for tests and *.module.yaml files for reusable modules. The skill covers the project's file formats. Test IDs live in each test file's id field, and the momentic.config.yaml file and test-level metadata should be checked before assuming project defaults. Files marked with fileType momentic/test/v2 or momentic/module/v2 use the current format. A missing or different fileType marks a deprecated v1 file, which should not be edited by hand, and changes to steps are saved with the momentic_test_splice_steps tool. The skill is installed with npx skills from the momentic-ai/skills repository, and its security audits all pass.
