About month-heads-up

month-heads-up
Runs on the 25th
month-heads-up is a skill from Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins, listed on skills.sh. It runs on the 25th of the month and gives the owner a clear picture of the next thirty days of cash, with specific things to watch before month-end. It has two steps. The first pulls the current cash position from QuickBooks, including the cash and receivables balance, and the PayPal settled balance and pending payouts, and combines them into total available and incoming cash. The second pulls recurring expenses due in the next thirty days, such as payroll, subscriptions and rent or lease, along with invoices that are past due or due within fourteen days. Any payment that would push the balance below a comfortable buffer is flagged. The default buffer is two thousand dollars, or half the owner's average monthly expense in QuickBooks. The horizon can be set to thirty or sixty days. It suits owners who want an early warning of a cash squeeze before the month closes.
