It provides diagnostics-only troubleshooting patterns for BGP, the routing protocol between networks. It applies when a BGP session is down or flapping, when a session is established but expected routes are missing, when a route map, prefix list, max-prefix limit or AS path policy may be filtering routes, or when a team needs before and after evidence for a change. It also covers neighbour states such as Idle, Connect, Active, OpenSent and OpenConfirm, route exchange, prefix policy, AS path inspection, and reviewing any automation that parses BGP summary output. The default workflow is read-only evidence collection. Policy edits and session resets belong in a reviewed change window, and the skill keeps those actions out of the triage path. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.
