Writing an OpenCLI adapter for a new site or adding a new command

opencli-adapter-author is an agent skill from the jackwener opencli project, listed on skills.sh. It guides an agent through writing an OpenCLI adapter for a new website, or adding a new command to an existing site, from the first recon through decoding the fields and verifying the result. The goal for a simple site is to get from nothing to a passing check in about thirty minutes. For complex sites, private protocols or sites with write actions, the skill puts complete evidence and safety first and does not guess at interfaces to meet a time limit. The skill uses the existing OpenCLI tools only, including the browser commands, opencli doctor, and browser verify. When debugging a browser-based adapter, the skill recommends running with trace enabled, which records a trace artefact for each round, and a summary file that serves as the review of a failure or success. It begins with a short self-check of three questions: whether the data is visible in the browser, whether it is HTTP, JSON or HTML, and whether real-time push is needed. It suits developers who write small command-line adapters for websites they use.
