opencli-autofix

Diagnose and repair broken OpenCLI adapters automatically

opencli-autofix is an agent skill from the jackwener opencli project, listed on skills.sh. It diagnoses and repairs an OpenCLI adapter when a command fails, for example because a website has changed its page structure, API or response format. Rather than only reporting the error, the agent collects the trace artefacts, identifies the root cause, which may be a DOM change, an API schema shift or a timeout, makes a minimal fix to the adapter source, and retries. The skill has hard stops. If the failure is authentication, the agent must not change code and should ask the user to log in to the site in Chrome. If the browser cannot connect, it should ask the user to run opencli doctor. CAPTCHAs and rate limiting are also stops, since they are not adapter problems. The agent may modify only the adapter file named in the trace summary, and never the core source, extension, tests or package files. There is a retry budget of three repair rounds per failure. It suits people who maintain OpenCLI adapters and want failures repaired and reported without manual debugging each time a site changes.
