About opencli-usage

opencli-usage
Unified CLI surface for discovering and driving website, desktop app
opencli-usage is an agent skill from the jackwener opencli project, listed on skills.sh. It is the top-level map of what the opencli command can do, and it is meant to be read at the start of an OpenCLI session. OpenCLI turns websites into a uniform opencli site command surface that agents can drive without scraping the screen. The skill describes four kinds of command. Adapter commands use the form opencli site command, with more than 100 sites covered by built-in adapters and user adapters kept in a folder of the user's own. Each adapter has a strategy, such as public, cookie, intercept, UI or local, which tells the agent whether a Chrome session is needed. Browser driving uses opencli browser subcommands for ad-hoc interaction and extraction when no adapter covers the task. Current-tab binding attaches a Chrome tab the user has already opened and logged into to a browser session, and the skill warns that bound sessions still block changes to the tab. The skill installs as a global npm package that needs Node 20.18.1 or newer, and it advises running opencli doctor before any browser work. It is the entry point, and it points to more specialised skills for each task.
