openspec-continue-change

Continue working on an OpenSpec change by creating the next artifact

openspec-continue-change is an agent skill from the OpenSpec project for moving an existing change forward by creating its next artifact. OpenSpec changes are built as a sequence of artifacts, and this skill looks at which ones exist and creates the next one that is needed, so you can progress a change one step at a time with a review at each stage. It is used when you want to advance a change, create the next artifact, or pick up a change where you left off. It keeps the same guard as the other OpenSpec workflows: before the first write it confirms that the project has an OpenSpec root by reading the list command's result, and it stops rather than creating an openspec folder when the project is not set up. A project that uses OpenSpec through a store the machine cannot resolve is reported as an error instead of being treated as new. When a store is in use, the skill selects it and keeps its id for the rest of the workflow. For creating every artifact in one pass, the ff-change skill is the faster choice, while this one suits a careful, step-by-step approach.
