About orch-fix-defect

orch-fix-defect
Orchestrate fixing a bug
orch-fix-defect is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It orchestrates fixing a bug: the bug is first reproduced as a failing regression test, then fixed until the test passes, then reviewed, and then committed through a gate. It is a thin wrapper over the shared orch-pipeline engine, which delegates each phase to a matching ECC agent or command rather than doing the work itself. It applies when something is broken, such as wrong output, an error, a crash or a regression. The skill separates itself from its siblings: where the behaviour is correct but should be different it is orch-change-feature, and where the capability does not exist yet it is orch-add-feature. Starting with a failing test means the fix is checked against the exact bug that was reported. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.
