About playwright-stealth-verify

P

playwright-stealth-verify

Check whether a Playwright, Puppeteer

Playwright stealth verify is an agent skill for checking whether a browser driven by Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium or a CDP connection presents a coherent fingerprint. It uses liarjs as a library against a page the harness already has, so the browser under test keeps its real launch flags, plugins and proxy. The skill answers one question about the harness: does its JavaScript story agree with itself and with what the network layer saw? The check measures the browser and does not modify it, and the project states that it ships no evasions or profiles. The skill shows how to call checkPage with any object that exposes an evaluate method, which Playwright and Puppeteer page objects do. liarjs needs Node 22 or newer and adds no dependencies to an existing Playwright or Puppeteer install. It is aimed at test teams whose automated browsers look wrong or get challenged, and who want to find the source of the inconsistency before it affects their test suite.
