pptx-author is an agent skill from Anthropic's financial-services collection, listed on skills.sh. It is for headless runs, where an agent has no PowerPoint document open and must deliver a deck as a file. Instead of editing a live presentation through PowerPoint tools, the agent writes a short Python script using the python-pptx library, optionally starting from a firm's template file, and runs it with Bash to build the slides. The output contract is fixed. The file is saved to ./out/ under the requested name with a .pptx extension, the folder is created if it does not exist, and the relative path is returned in the final message so the orchestration layer can collect the deck. It is aimed at automated finance workflows that produce pitch or client decks as files, rather than at someone editing a deck by hand in PowerPoint.
