pptx-deck-context

Preparing the narrative, sources

pptx-deck-context is an agent skill from the wshobson/agents collection for preparing the narrative, sources and design context of a new editable PowerPoint (PPTX) deck before any slide is drawn. Its job comes first in a deck pipeline: it settles the business story, the source material and the design direction, so that later steps place content on the slides rather than inventing it. The skill starts by confirming the audience, the decision the deck should support, the number of slides, the language, the sources and any brand requirements. It then applies a narrative framework. If the user has not chosen one, the skill offers a set that includes McKinsey, SCQA, pyramid, MECE, action-title, assertion-evidence and executive-summary-first structures, along with a custom option, and it does not pick one silently. Every metric, quotation, chart value and factual claim is given a source reference, and each slide should carry one message. The design direction is chosen from a user brand guide first, then from read-only evidence in a reference deck, then from a reusable profile. The skill records the framework, assumptions, source list, palette, typography and spacing before slide work begins. It is installed with the skills CLI from the wshobson/agents repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 2.3K installs.
