A .pptx file is a ZIP archive of XML, and the skill picks an approach by task. To create a new deck it writes a script with the pptxgenjs library. To edit an existing deck, or to build from a template, it unpacks the file, edits the slide XML, and repackages it. To read a deck it uses the markitdown tool, which returns one block of text per slide, and it can make a visual grid of thumbnails with a bundled Python script. The scripts are plain Python, Node or shell, and their paths are relative to the skill's folder. Use it for slide decks, pitch decks, presentations, speaker notes, layouts, comments, and any work on an existing PowerPoint file.
