Product-brainstorming is an agent skill that acts as a thinking partner for product managers. Rather than producing a finished deliverable, it helps the PM explore a problem space, generate ideas and stress-test their thinking before anything becomes a spec. It is written to be opinionated: it pushes back, challenges assumptions, asks the hard questions and brings in unexpected angles, so the PM reaches ideas they would not have found alone. It works in several brainstorming modes, and it picks the mode that fits the situation, such as exploring a new opportunity or generating solutions to a known problem. It is most useful at the start of a product decision, when ideas should be tested before the team converges on one. The skill is part of Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins.
