PsiTransfer

Simple file sharing solution

PsiTransfer is a self-hosted file sharing app that works as an alternative to services such as Dropbox and WeTransfer. Visitors upload and download files in the browser with no accounts or logins. Uploads and downloads can resume after an interruption because the server supports the tus.io protocol, and very large files are streamed rather than loaded into memory. You can set an expiry time for an upload bucket, allow one-time downloads, protect the download list with a password, and download all files in a bucket as a zip or tar.gz archive. An admin page lists bucket information when an admin password is set in the config. The interface is a lightweight Vue frontend that is responsive and works on phones. The project is available as a Docker image, as a precompiled build or from source, and the templates for the upload and download pages can be edited with your own logo. The author notes that there is no end-to-end encryption yet, and that downloading everything as a ZIP cannot resume.
