A feature that is too large for one agent pass is decomposed into work units, each with its dependencies and acceptance tests, and each is run through research, planning, implementation, testing and review. The pipeline stages are RFC intake, DAG decomposition, unit assignment, unit implementation, unit validation, a merge queue with integration, and a final system verification. The skill includes a template for unit specifications. It is credited as inspired by humanplane-style RFC decomposition and multi-unit orchestration. It applies when a large feature has to be split into independently verifiable pieces that agents can work on in parallel.
