The workflow has three steps. The first gets the spreadsheet's details, including its sheets and their IDs. The second copies the template sheet into the same spreadsheet, using the copyTo method with the destination spreadsheet ID. The third renames the new tab with a month identifier, through a batch update that sets the sheet title. The example in the recipe renames the tab to February 2025. The recipe requires the gws-sheets skill, and it uses Google Sheets API commands for the sheet operations. It suits people who keep a monthly budget, a timesheet or a log in a sheet, and who want each month's tab to start from the same template without copying it by hand.
