About remotion-render

R

remotion-render

Export a Remotion video

remotion-render is an agent skill from the remotion-dev skills collection that covers exporting video and still images from a Remotion project. It sets out the general rendering strategy: a full video is rendered with npx remotion render, and a single frame is rendered as an image with npx remotion still. To render several frames as images in one call, the skill uses the render command with its frames option. For the full list of options for each command, the skill links to Remotion's CLI documentation, so the agent can choose the flags a project needs rather than guess them. The skill is meant for the step after a composition is built, when the video is ready to be exported. If you are starting a new project, the same collection has a remotion-create skill that scaffolds one. It is installed with the skills CLI, and its skills.sh page showed about 162.9K installs and a set of passing security audits at the time of the scan.
