About research-ops

research-ops
Evidence-first current-state research workflow for ECC
research-ops is an agent skill from the ECC collection by affaan-m, listed on skills.sh. It is an evidence-first workflow for current-state research: finding fresh facts, comparing options, enriching people or company records, and turning repeated lookups into a monitored routine. It is an operator wrapper around the collection's research tools. It does not replace deep-research, exa-search or market-research, but says when and how to use them together. It pulls in exa-search for fast current-web discovery, deep-research for multi-source synthesis with citations, market-research when the output should be a ranked recommendation, lead-intelligence when the job is targeting people or companies, and knowledge-ops when the findings should be saved as durable context afterwards. It applies when someone asks for something current to be researched, options to be compared, or a recommendation to be built from current evidence. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows a Snyk warning, with Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passing.
