About roundup

roundup
Generate personalized status briefings on demand
roundup is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that generates draft status briefings on demand, matched to the user's communication style. It pulls from whatever data sources the user has configured, such as GitHub, email, Teams and Slack, synthesizes across them, and produces a briefing for a chosen audience. Before anything else it reads a configuration file in the user's config folder, which describes how the user communicates and who the audiences are. If that file does not exist, the skill points the user to a separate setup skill, roundup-setup, that builds it through a short conversation. If the user names an audience, such as leadership or the team, the skill uses that audience's profile from the configuration. It is useful for managers and leads who must report status to several groups and want a first draft in their own voice that they can edit. A briefing is only as good as the data it reads, and it can omit or misread work that lives in tools it does not see, so the user should check the draft before sending it. Because it reads email and chat, the user should be aware of which sources are connected and what they contain. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 1.3K installs. At the time of the scan, Gen Agent Trust Hub and Socket passed and Snyk showed a warning.
