About sftpgo Community Edition
sftpgo Community Edition
Flexible, fully featured and highly configurable SFTP server
SFTPGo is an event-driven file transfer server that lets people exchange files with the same tools they already use. It serves files over SFTP, HTTP and HTTPS, FTP and FTPS, and WebDAV, and it can store them on a local disk, an encrypted local disk, S3-compatible object storage, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage or another SFTP server. The project offers two editions. The Community edition is free, licensed under AGPLv3, and supported by the community. It includes all the core protocols, storage backends and the WebAdmin and WebClient interfaces, and the project describes it as production-ready and widely adopted. It suits standard file transfer needs and legacy protocols in front of cloud storage, for teams comfortable with AGPLv3. A separate Enterprise edition is sold under a commercial license with professional support, and it adds features such as virtual folders and smart archiving, email attachment ingestion, dynamic automation logic, and higher-performance cloud storage. The site says the Enterprise edition is a drop-in replacement for the Community edition. The project is hosted on GitHub, with a security policy and a list of contributors.
