skill-installer

Install Codex skills into $CODEX_HOME/skills

Skill-installer is a skill from OpenAI's skills collection that installs Codex skills into the Codex home folder's skills directory. By default it works from a curated list in the openai/skills repository, but it can also install from another GitHub repository or path, including private repositories. Asked what is available, it lists the curated skills, and you can pass a path to see the experimental set instead. When you name a skill from the curated list, it installs that one, and when you give a GitHub repository path, it installs from there. It uses helper scripts for each of these tasks. The skill is the easiest way to add ready-made skills to Codex without copying files by hand, and it is useful when you want to see what is available before choosing. It is listed on skills.sh under the openai/skills repository, as free to use.
