About spawn

spawn
Launch N parallel subagents in isolated git worktrees
Spawn is an agent skill that launches several subagents at once, each working on the same task in its own isolated git worktree, so they can compete on a session's work. You run it on the latest session, on a session you name by ID, or with a template option that uses a dispatch prompt from the agenthub reference, such as an optimizer or refactorer template, in place of the default prompt. Each agent gets its own worktree, so their changes do not collide while they work. The results can then be ranked by the evaluation skill and the best one merged with the merge skill. It is the first step of the agent hub workflow in the claude-skills collection: spawn creates the competing attempts, eval scores them, and merge lands the winner. The skill suits cases where you want several attempts at the same problem to compare, rather than a single pass. It is listed on skills.sh with clean security audits.
