About start

start
Initialize the productivity system and open the dashboard
Start is an agent skill that sets up the productivity system for the first time and opens its dashboard. It checks the working directory for the files the system relies on: a TASKS.md task list, a CLAUDE.md working-memory file, a memory/ directory for longer-term notes, and a dashboard.html visual interface. For each one that is missing, it creates the file from the standard template, so you do not have to build the structure by hand. It can also bootstrap working memory from material you already have, which helps the assistant start with context rather than an empty file. Once the system is in place, the skill opens the unified dashboard so you can see your tasks and memory in one place. You run it with /start, and it is used when you first set up the productivity plugin. The skill is part of Anthropic's knowledge-work plugins.
