About structured-autonomy-generate

structured-autonomy-generate

Generates complete, copy-paste ready implementation documentation

structured-autonomy-generate is an agent skill from the github/awesome-copilot collection that turns a pull request plan into complete, copy-paste ready implementation documentation. It takes a plan file stored under a plans folder for the feature, extracts the implementation steps from it, and researches the codebase so each step has exact file paths and complete code blocks rather than general descriptions. The output is a markdown implementation file saved beside the plan, written with zero ambiguity so that a developer or another agent can follow it without guessing. The skill's sole responsibility is generating that documentation, not writing the code itself, and it works from a plan produced by the planning skill in the same family. It is useful for teams that separate planning from implementation and want the handoff to be detailed. Documentation that contains complete code can be out of date by the time it is used, and the code it contains should be checked against the current repository before it is applied, since the codebase may have changed since the research was done. The skill is installed with the skills CLI from the github/awesome-copilot repository. Its skills.sh page showed about 8.7K installs and passing results from three security audits at the time of the scan.
