About swarm-advanced

swarm-advanced
Advanced swarm orchestration patterns for research, development, testing
swarm-advanced is an agent skill from the ruflo project that covers advanced swarm orchestration patterns for distributed research, development and testing workflows. It is written for work that uses both the MCP tools and the command-line interface of Claude Flow. The quick start asks you to install the claude-flow alpha package globally and, if you are using the MCP tools, to add the claude-flow MCP server to your client. The basic pattern begins by initializing a swarm topology, such as a mesh with a set maximum number of agents, and then spawning and coordinating the agents over the work. The skill is for developers who have a task large enough to split across several agents and who want a tested pattern for doing it, rather than inventing a layout each time. It explains the setup steps and the orchestration choices, so the swarm has a clear shape from the start. Because the swarm spends compute on every agent it starts, begin with a small maximum agent count and scale up once the pattern works. The skill passes Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk on skills.sh, and it has about 1,200 installs. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/ruvnet/ruflo --skill swarm-advanced.
