About typeset

typeset
Systematically assess and refine typography to eliminate generic defaults
typeset is an agent skill from the impeccable design project that assesses and refines typography that feels generic, inconsistent or poorly structured. It analyzes five typography dimensions: font choices, visual hierarchy, sizing consistency, readability and weight strategy across components. On font choices, it checks whether the design falls back on invisible defaults such as Inter, Roboto, Arial, Open Sans or system fonts, whether the typeface suits the brand's personality, since a playful brand should not use a corporate face, and whether there are more than two or three font families, which it calls almost always a mess. It also looks at hierarchy, meaning whether headings, body text and labels are clearly separated, sizes that are used consistently, and weights that are used with a plan. The skill then refines the type so that it feels intentional and fits the brand. It requires the /impeccable skill, which holds the design principles, anti-patterns and the Context Gathering Protocol, and if no design context exists it tells the user to run /impeccable teach first. It is useful for teams whose product looks like every other AI-built app and who want its typography to have a clear identity. Install it with npx skills add https://github.com/pbakaus/impeccable --skill typeset. On skills.sh it passes Gen Agent Trust Hub, Socket and Snyk.
