It downloads a single YouTube video with the quality and format you choose, or audio only as MP3. Quality options run from best down to 360p and worst, and formats are MP4, WebM and MKV, with MP4 the default for compatibility. Downloads go to an outputs folder by default, and a custom folder can be set. The skill uses yt-dlp, installing it if it is missing, and it fetches video information first and merges the video and audio streams when needed. Playlists are skipped by default. Downloading content may be restricted by YouTube's terms and by copyright law, so check that you have the right to save each video before you run it. A skill is a SKILL.md file of instructions that an AI agent loads when a task calls for it. It is free and open source, and the skills.sh listing shows all three security audits passing.
